Jalaj Hora is the Senior Vice President of Raw Materials, Product Engineering and Quality at Burberry. A materials expert, functional design enthusiast and a futurist, he has dedicated his career to unifying technology, design and social consciousness to create luxury products.
At Burberry, Hora also leads technical research and development as well as sustainable manufacturing to define the next stage of evolution for the brand. Having worked in Europe, America and Asia in consulting, manufacturing and retail, he draws on his diverse global experience to support the ambitions of the iconic luxury brand as well as to drive change across the fashion industry. Prior to Burberry, Hora worked at Target as the Director of Product Development and Design.
Hora has a degree in Engineering as well as a Masters in Global Marketing. He is a keen proponent of waste reduction, lean manufacturing and supply chain transparency.
