Job Profile
Paolo A. Netti is a full professor of Bioengineering at the Federico II University with a long experience in designing novel classess of bioinspired material that encode logic taken from biology. He is well known for having contributed to enrich the modern concept of biomaterial stretchinh their application range. He has been co-founder and director of the Interdepartmental Center for Research on Biomaterials (CRIB) of Federico II University (2004 – 2010); founder and director of the Center for Advanced Biomaterials for Health Care (IIT @ CRIB) of the Italian Institute of Technology. He has published over 450 scientific papers and has filed over 30 patents.
