The Department of Innovative Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland is active in the fields of industrial engineering and computer science through its vocational education, life long training, applied research and technology transfer activities. The department offers bachelor, master of science and advanced studies programs and integrates 5 research institutes and 20 specialised laboratories with an overall staff of about 280 scientists.
